The Department, in accordance with what was outlined in the "Three-Year Research and Third Mission Development Plan: 2021-2023," confirms in the "Three-Year Strategic Plan for Teaching, Research, and Third Mission/Social Impact DipMeC (2024-2026)" the presence of 13 active multidisciplinary research areas spanning biomedical, preclinical, and clinical fields, and includes the activation of three new areas as previously planned: Integrated "omics" sciences in precision medicine; Innovative tools and new technologies for health protection including the application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence; COVID: pandemic management and its consequences.


INFLAMMATION AND IMMUNE SYSTEM RESPONSES
